At A Nurses Touch, clients pick their color of choice for their rejuvenated lips. Bring your most commonly worn lipsticks to the initial appointment. We can then find the perfect color for your permanent lips. However, keep in mind that everyone heals differently. Still, we can adjust the color during touch-ups after observing how you heal from the 1st procedure. With age, the lip color line regresses. Once restored, it gives a more youthful look and enlarges your lips without fillers.
While it takes some treatments up to 2 years to fade completely, touch-ups and color richness are all based on personal preference. Typically, clients get a color booster around 14 months after treatment. Clients will still have color at this time, but they often prefer to keep the color brighter.
For those worried about the permanence of this treatment, there is good news. Fortunately, you can adjust your color during the touch-ups over the years to adapt to or integrate style changes. After your initial appointment and 8-weeks touch up, the yearly touch-ups are significantly cheaper, easier, and faster. Women with extra dark Lips we do ask to send us a picture of the lips they have and the goal color in mind so we know how to book you best.
We apply permanent eyeliner between the lashes to transform the appearance of the eye. Eyeliner can even function as an inexpensive, low-maintenance lash extension. We leverage our extensive esthetician and nursing experience and expertise to cultivate a safe, enjoyable environment and design a permanent eyeliner look that matches your taste and accentuates your eye shape.
Moreover, our state-of-the-art lash enhancement technique implants pigment between the lashes to lift and lengthen the lash line. The tiny needle is rapid, and it generally takes approximately 1 minutes per pass with 4 passes per lid, top or bottom. Permanent eyeliner is an excellent investment.
We offer a wide range of natural colors, including black, double black, black-brown, ash brown, and brown. If you have lash extensions, remove them or have them thinned before your appointment. Please note that you can apply new lashes 8 days after the appointment.
- You must be 18 years old or older.
- Do not consume any coffee or caffeine products during the preceding 8 hours.
- Keep your lips very moist and in as good shape as possible before the procedure.
- Do not take any blood-thinning products, like ibuprofen or aspirin, during the preceding 72 hours.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Do not consume alcohol for the preceding 24-hours.
- Bring in all lipsticks, pictures of your preferred lip color, or preferred eyeliner colors for both procedures.
- Send a picture before booking if you have abnormal lips, sun-damaged lips, scarred lips, or very dark lips with a lot of melanin or skin color variations. We will determine if you are a good candidate for treatment.
FOR CLIENTS WITH FALSE LASHES WHO WANT EYELINER:
If you have false lashes, it is better to have the permanent eyeliner applied without lashes or when the false lashes are thin before applying a new set. Furthermore, permanent eyeliner requires 1 week to heal before you can apply a new set.
FOR PERMANENT LIP BLUSHING PROCEDURES:
For the two weeks leading up to your procedure, you cannot receive lip fillers. Also, if you have ever had a cold sore on your lips, please start taking Anti-Viral Valtrex or Acyclovir medication 4 days before and 5 days after the procedure. This is a precautionary measure to avoid any cold sores after the procedure while healing. For the aforementioned medication, you will need a prescription. Most doctors will fill this script with a simple phone call request.
Day 1. The lips will be swollen and tender and the color will be a ruby vibrant color. Some clients experience light bruising on lips also avoid spicy foods and drink from straws.
Day 2 -5 Ruby Red color and swelling will soften and start to be patchy in appearance.
Day 5-6. Swelling continues to decrease. Some clients notice the lips shrink for a day or so and notice an orange color. Skin exfoliation and healing continues as lips appear chapped for a few days.
Day 7- 20. Color of choice begins to show but color is patchy and starts to smooth as skin heals. There is an new skin layer on top of the color that appears light in tone. Lips will require extra moisture and chap stick for 2 months after.
On the 8 week touch up, the additional layer of color will be added in order to smooth the outline. The additional color application will also help color to be more consistent and rich.
The healing process requires patience. The body has to heal and I can tell you as a Nurse that everyone heals differently. The first four days are visually the most difficult. Note: may take up to 20 days for lips to completely soften and smooth.

- Please bring in all lips sticks pictures of a lip color of choice or eyeliner colors in order to help match for either procedure
- If you have abnormal lips, sun damaged lips, scared lips or very dark lips with a lot of melanin or a wide variety of skin color variations please send a picture before booking to make sure you are a good candidate.
FOR CLIENTS WITH FALSE LASHES THAT WANT EYELINER :
